Tom Ingram – Primary, Key Stage 3 and GCSE

I am a 22 year old undergraduate studying Business Economics at Liverpool University. Throughout my own education Maths has always been my strongest subject; I understand the subject in great depth and I teach it to only the highest of standards. I have loved numbers and problem solving for as long as I can remember and I truly believe that anyone can find Maths fun.
I am a patient and enthusiastic teacher with a deep understanding of the subject. I am also very approachable and friendly, with a great sense of humour. I offer tutees a more fun and dynamic method of learning, rather than the often boring and mundane classroom environment that they are used to in school that sends them to sleep. I am a strong believer that the only way tutees will learn is if they are interested in what they are being taught.
I am a good communicator and building a relationship with my tutees is very important to me; I want them to feel completely comfortable with me and not afraid to ask questions. Still being young myself helps in this respect and allows me to properly connect with my tutees.
My aim is to provide my tutees with the tools and skills which will not only enable them to pass exams, but which will also give them a lifelong confidence in their ability to do Maths.
Satisfaction is guaranteed – if you are not happy with the progress that is made during the first session, there will be no charge!
I am available Monday – Thursday after 6pm, Friday after 4:30pm and any time during the weekend
