Dr Andy Gudgeon – Primary Maths, Sciences, French, German, Special Needs

Maths:

Andy has an impressive CV with tonnes of experience in education and is happy to teach Maths to any level. He says”almost everybody on this planet says “I could NEVER do Maths”,and I enjoy proving they really CAN do it.” He uses worksheets and sets work from every lesson. He will teach people to overcome Dyslexia and Asperger’s Syndrome. He needs to work from his home in Ribbleton, for access to his resources, but parents are welcome to stay and use his WiFi if they wish.

Sciences:

Andy has been teaching all three sciences all his life, and still loves it. He did a Double Honours degree in Biology & Chemistry, then a PhD in Biochemistry, and was Head of Science in a top independent UK school for 20 years, then Professor of Chemistry in The Philippines. Much of his work is focused on helping his students get into Medical Schools.

French:

Andy studied French for some years, and has spent 2 years in France. He prefers to focus on traditional grammar and translation, before moving towards the speaking and listening skills, which come later. 

German:

Andy studied German for some years, and has spent time in Germany. He prefers to focus on traditional grammar and translation, before moving towards the speaking and listening skills which come later. 

Dyslexic children and Asperger’s Syndrome

Andy has learned techniques to help those children, and overcoming those problems only needs a short course and should also involve parents.
